Wow! I feel like I’ve been traveling everywhere for the past 3 weeks! Things are now starting to slow down so I can focus on getting ready for school!
I left for New York City on the 17th and came back just in time for Christmas. The day after Christmas I headed down to New Orleans to spend the New Years with my Aunt Seine, who was gracious enough to let me and many of my friends crash at her place! I couldn’t stop shopping in New Orleans. I went everwhere from Urban Outfitters to the French Connection. It was wonderful!
I came home New Years day and had the opportunity to shoot a newborn session! I can’t wait for you to see these images. I plan on heading to Natchitoches sometime tomorrow to get a few ready to blog! Keep watching!
So, for all who didn’t know, I’ve started school. I’m going to Northwester State University in Natchitoches, LA. It’s been an interesting ride! I’ve been so busy, that I haven’t been able to update this blog since this past summer. I feel really bad…
I’ve promised myself, and now I’m promising you, that after this next week, I will start updating again. I’m leaving for NYC Monday (tomorrow) and will be returning the following Friday. I’m very excited.
Last week was Lacy Ford’s senior portrait session. She had each on of her outfits planned to the very piece of jewelry! It was so much fun shooting her. Check out what we got!!
I was hoping this would happen to me! I now get to tell 8 fun facts about me and my life! Let’s see:
Fact #1: I’ve been to all 50 states of the US.
Fact #2: I’m in love with Sonic and spent more than $8000 there two years ago! (I’m working on that)
Fact #3: Kelly Moore Clark was my teacher and inspired me to be the photographer I am today! About four years ago, I showed her some of my horrible film work and she hired me as her assistant. The rest is history.
Fact #4: Though I am a photographer, I just moved to Natchitoches, LA to study Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre.
Fact #5: My guilty pleasure is movies with Lindsey Lohan. Everyone else I know doesn’t like her, but I love her!
Fact #6: I brush my teeth in the shower.
Fact #7: I am a Christian.
Fact #8: I am currently rehearsing an audition for the musical “Cats” and need mucho prayers and support because I’m mucho nervous!
About a week ago was Camille’s senior session! I think Camille is one of my biggest fans, because she drove 5 hours from Arkansas to have this session done!! She was so easy to photograph! Check her out!
Thought this was funny. I’m a performer myself, and I’m very familiar with the “Fosse” style of dancing. This video was filmed forever-and-a-day-ago, and it’s cool that it matches right up with today’s song, “Walk it Out.”
